Plenty of fantastic people helped out last time with publicity, travel, hospitality, door, catering, stage hands, tech, lending gear, etc... We need volunteers again so contact us at brainwashed at brainwashed dot com and tell us what you can do. (We can't promise free tickets but you will get something!)
Pulling off an event like this isn't free. We broke even exactly last time around and that was with the sponsorship from fine establishments like Arch Enemy, Crouton, Free Internet Press, Jnana, Kranky, RRRecords, and WZBC
Sponsorship gets your name and logo on fliers, ads, and the web site; a merch table; and/or ads on Brainwashed.com.
We're slowly sifting through the over 60 video tapes from the first festival to present DVDs of the first fest. DVDs can be purchased at the Brainwashed Commerce section along with plenty other things we sell.
We're not completely opposed to begging for money for this. (Experimental music doesn't really pay the bills as you might guess!) The paypal account is paybrain at brainwashed dot com and you will earn eternal love and gratitude and thanks in the shows final credits and plenty of other good vibes from us.
Tell your friends, post on your blogs, blast your myspace buddies, call your radio stations. Brainwashed isn't sexy enough to do very well with mass media so we appreciate all word-of-mouth at the ground level.
